Winners continue to flow

In recent weeks we have enjoyed a fine run of form with three winners from a very limited numbers of runners. Classic Concorde demolished the field in a sixteen length romp at Kilbeggan, he will have a short break before being aimed at another 3m event at Sligo in August.
Mandarin Monarch has been a stable favourite for a while now, he collected for the fifth time since joining the yard under Dillon Maxwell and will now be aimed at the Galway festival. He is owned by the enthusiastic Red or Black Syndicate who themselves are Galway based and are very keen on Ballybrit. He will have plenty options there, the ideal would be a tilt at the €80,000 2m handiap hurdle on Friday if he gets in.

Dream Point kept the ball rolling providing success for the Boyne Valley Syndicate under a cool ride from Colin Keane in a Claiming event. That was her fifth outing for the yard but will now be under the care of Denis Hogan after being claimed by owner James McCauley.
